Andrew Martin will be starting in goal tonight. He has actually played in all 3 games this year against Muskegon. The first game of the year he went in after Paulo was pulled. He started the last two.
Every game against them has gotten closer. 9 to 3, 5 to 2, and 2 to 1. Hopefully tonight will be the night to get a win.
Brett Holmberg won't be in the lineup tonight. He came in around 4 pm, feeling sick and Joe (the trainer) sent him home. I thought that we would be playing with 19 guys for the first time in a while, but that won't be the case.
I was excited to see that two players I had the beginning of last year in Houston made the AHL Canadian All-star team, Corey Locke (Hartford) and Maxim Noreau (Houston). Former Rivermen player Charles Linglet also made the team.
I was thinking about the gold jerseys, and I know we have not been very successful in them. However, every time we have worn them as a light jersey. Next time we wear them, we will try and wear them as a dark. Hopefully that will change our luck.
See you tonight
